Zalik National Grant Initiative for Fertility Treatments — up to $50,000 per new location beginning with Pittsburgh, Greater DC, Denver in 2023.
(12.19.22) The Jewish Fertility Foundation (JFF) is the recipient of a substantial challenge grant from The Zalik Foundation supporting the establishment of new JFF locations. This seed funding develops an initial fertility grant pool in each city, providing immediate access to financial assistance for fertility treatments and inspiring new JFF communities to grow local capacity. Subsequent new locations will receive similar funding for three years.
“The Zalik Foundation funding helps JFF scale and grow while bringing needed fertility grants to people in each location. It is a catalyst for the establishment of new JFF communities and a tremendous endorsement of our impact and success on the ground. We rejoice with every new baby born, with every couple or individual who finds support on their fertility journey, and every community that seeks to launch a JFF chapter,” said Elana Frank, JFF’s CEO.
Most significantly, the Zalik Foundation funding supports JFF’s need-based grants for fertility treatments. These grants are provided to individuals who would otherwise have difficulty paying for the high costs associated with necessary medical interventions. “In every location, our mission is to help clients make babies, and we do it well,” Frank asserted.
Helen Zalik shared, “We are proud to support JFF’s growth and encourage others to contribute to JFF as its impactful work expands to new communities. It can be devastating for a couple to navigate fertility challenges. We are humbled by the opportunity to empower these women as they build Jewish families and support their access to fertility treatments, which are costly and out of reach for so many.”
