JFF's First Endowment: We're honored to announce

JFF's First Endowment:

We're honored to announce the first annual Sheldon Pelchovitz Fertility Grant, established in honor and memory of Dr. Pelchovitz, a pioneering OB-GYN who brought IVF technology to Cincinnati, was awarded this month!

This special grant will be awarded annually to help someone in Cincinnati afford fertility treatment to grow their family. We're humbled to be able to honor Dr. Pelchovitz's work and memory through this award, and are grateful to his loving family for establishing it to continue to provide hope to members of the Cincinnati community impacted by infertility.

Annual JFF National Board Retreat 2023 and a big THANK YOU:

On Sunday and Monday, our dedicated Jewish Fertility Foundation National Board members gathered for the annual retreat. They worked non-stop during the day and took a break on Sunday night to schmooze and socialize with some of JFF's biggest supporters.

We also shared a bittersweet goodbye toast to our outgoing board chair, @rachelloftspring . Rachel's hard work and strong leadership has been, and will continue to be, an inspiration to us all.

JFF-DENVER Clergy Training Recap! On November 29t

JFF-DENVER Clergy Training Recap!

On November 29th, JFF-DEN held a clergy training for Rocky Mountain Rabbis and Cantors at Temple Emanuel in Denver. Participants were extremely engaged and asked great questions as they learned about sensitivity around those experiencing infertility and the importance of genetic testing, especially in the Jewish community.

The guest speakers, who were so captivating, included:

🎤 Cantor Elizabeth Sacks (who is also a JFF- Denver Advisory Council member) shared great excerpts from the Torah related to infertility

🎤 Dr. Mandy Katz-Jaffe, @ccrmfertility Science and Genetics Director

🎤Melissa Michaud, local Denver therapist who runs our support groups

and

🎤Rabbi Sarah Shulman, who spoke briefly about her own infertility journey

Grateful to all involved for a successful event!
